About The Thriving Table
The Thriving Table is an independent publisher of weeknight recipes and shortcut cookbooks. We make food for people who cook dinner most days and do not want a forty-ingredient list or a life story before the recipe.
What we publish
- Free recipes and guides on this site, organized by the way people actually cook: weeknight dinners, the air fryer, high-protein meals, jam and preserving, baking with puff pastry, and cheese boards.
- Cookbooks, interactive dashboards and printable planners in our shop, from $9. Each one is an instant download.
- A free weekly email with one recipe and a short shopping list. You can join here.
How a recipe gets here
Every recipe on this site follows the same rules:
- Exact measurements. Cups, grams and ounces, plus oven temperatures and a time range. If a recipe says "bake until golden", it also tells you what golden looks like and roughly when to look.
- A visible way to know it is done. Not just a timer. A color, a texture, a sound, an internal temperature.
- Nutrition from a published source. Nutrition panels, when shown, are estimates calculated from published nutrition reference values. They are a guide, not medical advice.
- Plain language. No filler, no invented stories.
You can read the full standard on our editorial policy page, including how we use AI tools and how we handle corrections.
Who runs this
The Thriving Table is run by a small independent team. We use AI tools to help draft, organize and illustrate our work, and we say so openly on the editorial policy page. If you find a mistake, tell us. We fix errors and note the date of the change at the top of the post.
